On Saturday, September 19, from 1 p.m., the Grafički kolektiv Gallery invites the public to hang out with the Original Duo Art duo, artists Sandra Malić and Stanko Crnobrnja, authors of the exhibition "Infinite Light", which has been on display for ten days and which, with its unusual setting and color, attracts a large number of visitors every day.
Sandra Malić, multimedia artist, and Stanko Crnobrnja, television and film director, producer and screenwriter, have rich artistic careers behind them, and since 2019, through the project ODA - Original Duo Art, they work together and create a completely new, innovative, unique aesthetic expression.
On Saturday, the audience will have the opportunity to get to know their joint work in an immediate way. We will talk about the installation itself, its different segments, installations, work process, but also about the meaning of the phenomenon called post-photography.
In the end, Malić and Crnobrnja will explain to those present why ODA insists on something deeply traditional: on nature, the human eye, the hand and the need to see and interpret the world anew. Sandra and Stanko prepared a special surprise for the audience on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the creation of the photograph.
We remind you that the exhibition "Infinite Light" presented about 60 works, arranged in several thematic and visual units, one installation that bears the name of the exhibition itself - "Infinite Light", conceived as a light landscape that exudes infinity and transcends the physical framework of space, as well as a video work, which constantly shows scenes of untouched nature.
A retrospective of more than 300 works of this artistic duo is continuously shown on a special, large screen in the gallery, providing the audience with a wider cross-section of their creativity.
This meeting will be an opportunity to see the exhibition "Infinite Light" from the perspective of the authors themselves, through a conversation about the ideas, actions and visual language created in their joint work.

75 years of the Graphic Collective
Since its establishment in 1949, together with the gallery, it has been, and still is, one of the leading art centers in Serbia (and ex-Yugoslavia). Through the history of this gallery, the development of graphics in the second half of the 20th century can be traced in national and international frameworks. By promoting graphics, graphic design and other forms of visual arts, GK acts as a mediator in the critical reception of significant phenomena in contemporary artistic practice.
GK’s professional reputation is based on a diverse program, high criteria, tradition and enthusiasm; it is open to new phenomena, directions, experiments.
Who are the founders of the Graphic Collective?
Well-known and established artists of the first generation of graphic artists of the Belgrade Academy of Fine Arts: Boško Karanović, Mirjana Mihać, Dragoslav Stojanović Sip, Dragoljub Kažić and Mile Petrović.
Activities of the Graphic Collective
The Graphic Collective organizes more than 20 exhibitions a year of domestic and foreign artists (from England, Japan, Poland, Canada, Sweden; Dali, Chagall, Vasarely, Motherwell, Erro, Fuchs, Anderle, Brunovsky, Lawrence W, Toshio Joshizumi, Kalaj…). The first happening in Belgrade, in the 60s, took place in this gallery. The GK collection has about 5000 graphics; catalogs, graphic maps, monographs are published.
